"Anatomías Ambivalentes" explores the creation of
alienesque entities where careful combination of material and
form introduce a new type of hybrid body. Constructed by
blending fragile and rigid, synthetic and organic, transparent
and opaque materials, "Anatomias Ambivalentes" eludes
definition by established boundaries of the natural. They are
still objects with implicit motion, like organs without body in
a flowing in-between state of life and death. The viewer is
intruding on an ongoing, everlasting process of metabolic
becoming where forms express the plasticity and potentiality
of bodies to become.
