‘Mechanical Secretions’ is an alien ecosystem built from the waste of a product-obsessed society. Originally formed as an inanimate physical object, Mechanical Secretions has since ‘evolved’ into its post-physical form: detritus, assimilated and reanimated as artificial life. 
 This phygital piece includes both the original physical sculpture* and the animated digital artwork.

 *The physical sculpture is currently on loan to the Petah Tikva Museum as part of the ‘Inflating Errors’ exhibition, and will be delivered to the collector around November 2022, after the exhibition has closed.
