Dissrup is committed to respecting your privacy and complying with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure that the personal information you share with us is kept securely and processed lawfully.
All assets on the Dissrup platform are stored using IPFS (Interplanetary File System) which is public, open access and immutable by design.
IPFS is a file sharing system that can be leveraged to more efficiently store and share large files. It relies on cryptographic hashes that can easily be stored on a blockchain.
IPFS does not permit users to share files with selected parties — this means we cannot share your data with third parties (even if we wanted to).
IPFS is a peer-to-peer system that makes it possible to efficiently distribute high volumes of data without duplication—reducing bandwidth usage and improving data transfer speed.
IPFS stays true to the original vision of an open, flat web by empowering creators to build and share on the decentralised web — whether that's delivering content free from intermediary control or minting NFTs using immutable smart contracts.
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure information is used appropriately, we have put in place procedures to safeguard and secure information we collect online.
We force HTTPS communication on the entire website, so all traffic into and out of our servers is secured by SSL.
Private user data (including addresses and personal details) is kept securely. However, Dissrup team members may require access to certain private information to ensure shipments are delivered successfully. The information that we collect is minimal, and outlined in the following section.
When you order from our website, we collect personal information required to fulfil your order and contact you should a query arise.
When you subscribe to the Dissrup newsletter, you give us permission to use the following information to allow us to contact you with the content we believe you will be interested in.
We do not collect your credit/debit card, or crypto-wallet information: none of the information used to make purchases and place bids on our platform is stored anywhere on our website.
All transactions are processed (externally) by MetaMask using secure blockchain smart contracts.

Dissrup does not sell digital or phygital products to persons under the age of 16. By placing an order or submitting your details to us, you are confirming that you are over the age of 16.
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with any external third parties, unless the need to do so is clearly outlined in the product/purchase requirement forms at checkout.
